Ragamuffin Cats:

The Ragamuffin is a breed of domestic cat that is similar but separate from the Ragdoll breed. Ragamuffins were developed from existing Ragdoll cats and established as their own breed in 1994, although the exact history of how they were developed is not known. These cats are extremely sweet animals and will follow their family around the house, easily sitting through a tea party with a young child. Like the name “rag” implies, they will easily go limp and curl up in your lap although they are not lazy animals. The Ragamuffin has a thick fur, similar to that of a rabbit and requires frequent brushing to avoid matting. They can be found in a large variety of colors and patterns, all of which are accepted.
