All this information is provided so that YOU can research each breeder individually and find the one that has your perfect kitten available!

We always strongly encourage you to thoroughly check out each cat breeder you are interested in purchasing from before you make your final decision. With over 3,000 cat breeders listed on this website, we are the LARGEST breeder directory on the internet! However, that means we also rely on our visitors to inform us if any of our breeders listed fall short of being a reputable and trustworthy cat breeder.

Chausie Cats:

The Chausie were created by breeding jungle cats to domesticated cats. They have long and tall bodies with a lean build and broad, tall ears. Their cheekbones are prominent and their eyes are flattened at the top, forming a half oval below.

These cats have a short coat and they feature three main colors: solid black, black grizzled tabby and black/brown ticked tabby. Other colors exist as well. Their eyes are gold or yellow but light shades of green also exist. Chausies are large and built for running and jumping thanks to their tall legs. They are active, intelligent and require consistent companionship. They do well with kids and dogs and are extremely loyal, forming deep bonds with people. Its recommended to keep them onhigh quality meat based diets.

Black grizzled tabbies are unique to the breed, being a trait inherited from jungle cats.
