York Chocolate Cats:
A descendant of the Siamese cats, the York Chocolate is a larger breed that has firm muscles and a solid bone structure. They’re a fairly new and uncommon breed, characterized by being very hardy, strong, active and bright. They can weigh up to 16 or 17 lbs when they’re adults.
York Chocolate cats have a semi-long coat that is light and downy soft, with an undercoat that resists matting. Its color can be either chocolate brown or lavender. Their tail is puffy and they have a ruff around their chest and neck.
These cats descend from farm cats, which give them an affectionate nature that is loyal to their humans. They are independent, excellent hunters, social and they like to purr a lot. They can be shy sometimes and they also love water.
