Korat Cats:
Korat cats are a slate blue colored breed with a short-haired coat with a small to medium build. They are a natural breed originating in Thailand, and are known to be “good luck cats”, being only gifted rather than sold. They are also characterized by maintaining a low percentage of body fat. Their body is semi-cobby and they are heavier than they seem to be. They have a heart-shaped head with large green eyes.
Their coat is actually silver-tipped producing a shimmering quality or “halo” effect. Thai lilac, Thai blue point and Thai lilac point are also accepted coat colors.
Korat cats have great hearing, sight and scent. They form strong bonds with humans and love cuddling. They like to be active and play a lot, especially with children.
