European Shorthair Cats:
Also called the Celtic shorthair or just European, these cats are known as the common European cats. It’s a domestic breed that has developed naturally without special breeding rules. They are very closely related to the British and American Shorthair breeds. They can live up to 22 years as indoor cats and are good hunters.
They’re strong and active, being medium sized and showing a muscular build. They have a round head and round eyes of any color with medium sized ears. Their coat is short and soft but also very dense and they come in all kinds of colors and patterns including red, black, pure white, tabby, etc. They do not require special grooming, needing only to be brushed about once a week.
These cats have different tempers. Some can be affectionate and other are more laid back. They are also friendly, intelligent and playful.
