American Curl Cats:
The American Curl is an uncommon breed of domestic cats that originated in California after a stray was discovered that had the unique characteristic of ears that curled away from the face towards the back center of the head. Once this stray had a litter of kitten that all exhibited the same unusual ears, the American Curl bloodline had begun. At birth, their ears are straight but begin to curl back within 3 – 5 days. These cats are accepted with both long and short haired, silky coats that require little grooming. They are very social animals and love interacting with their owners as well.
