Serengeti Cats:

Serengeti is a hybrid breed of domestic cat that was developed by crossing a Bengal with an Oriental Shorthair in the mid-1990. While still in the development stage, the goal in developing this breed is to create a domestic cat breed that resembles the Serval without using any recent wild cat DNA. A Serengeti cat weighs between 8 – 15 pounds, with long legs and large ears. It has a strong and muscular body with a very upright posture. Their coat ranges from yellow to gold with widely spaced black spots throughout. Serengeti cats have a friendly temperament and once they warm up to a new home they will happily follow their owners around all the time. Since they are very active cats, they are constantly climbing up high or running throughout the home.
