Savannah Cats:

The Savannah cat is a hybrid breed that was developed by crossing a domestic cat with the serval, a medium sized wild African cat with large ears. Their body is tall with a slim built, giving it the appearance of it being much larger than it actually is. Savannah cats usually weigh between 9 – 17 pounds for a female and 15 – 30 pounds for males. The specific physical attributes of each Savannah cat differ depending of the generation of the breed. The only accepted coat is a spotted pattern although other varieties do appear. Savannah cats are intelligent and extremely energetic, often times wearing out other animals in the house. They also possess the entertaining ability to jump straight up into the air.
