Oregon Rex Cats:

The Oregon Rex is another variant of the breeds that stemmed from the Rex coat mutation gene. They are recognized by their silky and curly coat, characterized by being short and tight with hardly any guard hair to it. They are medium sized cats that can live up to 15 years and weigh up to 10 or 11 lbs in adulthood. They have an elongated body with a long tail and long legs which gives the breed a graceful and light appearance. Their head is wedge-shaped with large ears. Their coat can come in several colors and patterns much like the other Rex breeds.

Their personality is docile, being affectionate to their humans, but also demanding of love and attention. They can be vocal and also tend to have a dominant and arrogant character which doesn’t make them a good pet for children.
